- Iran said this morning that its military had seized two cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Semiofficial Iranian news agencies said a third ship was also struck.
- President Donald Trump extended the ceasefire deal with Iran yesterday, saying the United States was asked by Pakistan “to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal.” He said the U.S. would continue its blockade of key Iranian ports.
- A French peacekeeper and two Lebanese citizens were killed this morning during attacks in Lebanon. More than 6,000 people have died in the Middle East, almost all within Iran and Lebanon, since the war with Iran began in late February.
