- President Donald Trump said today that if Iran does not agree to a peace deal with the U.S., “the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before.” Trump said yesterday that he would pause the U.S. mission to guide ships through the Strait of Hormuz to allow for potential renewed peace negotiations.
- A Pakistani official told MS NOW that the prospect of a proposal to end the war is “very likely in the coming days.” Pakistan has been involved in trying to bring the U.S. and Iran to the negotiating table during the war.
- U.S. gas prices rose again this morning and are now at $4.54 a gallon on average. Oil prices, however, dropped on the news yesterday that the U.S. may be preparing for more peace talks with Iran.
