- More than two dozen world leaders and observers attended the first meeting of the newly launched Board of Peace hosted Thursday by President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C.
- The president said he will make a decision on whether to carry out a potential military strike on Iran within the next two weeks.
- He also announced that the U.S. will contribute $10 billion to the Board of Peace, which was created to monitor the Israel-Gaza ceasefire and the rebuilding in Gaza. He said nine countries have contributed more than $7 billion to the relief package.
