The Democratic National Committee on Thursday released its long-awaited “autopsy” on the party’s failed attempt to win the 2024 presidential election.
DNC Chair Ken Martin apologized for not releasing it sooner and said he does not “endorse what’s in this report, or what’s left out of it.”
The report was authored by Democratic strategist Paul Rivera, according to a DNC spokesperson.
“When I received the report late last year, it wasn’t ready for primetime—not even close—and because no source material was provided, it would have meant starting over,” Martin said in a statement. “I could not in good faith put the DNC’s stamp of approval on the report that was produced.”
