President Donald Trump will address the nation on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET to “provide an important update on Iran,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced Tuesday.
It’s the first prime-time address Trump has delivered since the war began on Feb. 28. The White House has not provided any additional details about the address.
Trump told reporters at the White House on Tuesday that he expects U.S. forces in Iran to withdraw in “two or three weeks.”
