In addition to restoring the basic functions of everyday life after the deadly and devastating destruction of Hurricane Helene, North Carolina officials are working to restore the basic functions of democracy with the election fast approaching and Donald Trump looking for any excuse to challenge the election's integrity. Anderson Clayton, chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party, talks with Alex Wagner about the work going into the long road to recovery for her state.
