The end of March means the spring season is finally in the air, which was at the top of our NBC Select readers ‘ minds. This month, shoppers stocked up on workout essentials, skin care staples and travel-friendly tech as they prepared for the new season, with most snagging solid deals during spring sales. And with Women’s History Month in full swing, our favorite women-owned brands were front and center in our coverage: Not only did we highlight nearly 400 brands owned by women, but we also spoke to female founders about their advice for women entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses.

To round out a busy month at NBC Select, we also launched our third annual Wellness Awards, for which our editors spent three months testing hundreds of products to find the best of the best in dental care, sleep and fitness. Among our winners, sports bras and earbuds caught our readers’ eyes the most this month. (You can shop the full list of wellness winners here.)

Aquaphor Healing Ointment

Our editors love Aquaphor, as do our readers — this ointment shows up in our bestsellers data every month. It might be because of its versatility (you can use it as a lip balm, a cracked heels treatment and a hand cream, to name a few), or perhaps because it’s perfect for relieving dry, flaky skin during the colder months without irritating sensitive skin. This occlusive ointment fits seamlessly into everyday life, plus it’s easy to take with you on the go.

Apple AirTag (4 Pack)

Earlier this month, the Apple Airtag four-pack hit its lowest price ever, and though it’s no longer at that low price, it’s still very much on sale. You can attach the Airtag, about the size of a quarter, to your keys, wallet, luggage and more to find and/or keep track of your belongings. You can use the Apple FindMy app to pinpoint the exact location of your AirTag if it’s within 30 feet. You can use its Precision Finding feature, which guides you toward your item using an arrow that points you in the AirTag’s direction, and the chime or sound feature to make your items easier to find.

Kelo-cote Advanced Formula Scar Gel

Most scars are permanent, but they don’t have to be noticeable. You can apply this silicone scar gel twice daily to reduce redness and soften raised scars. It’s clear, non-greasy and water-resistant, plus it works great after surgical procedures because it dries fully without leaving the skin feeling sticky, according to experts I spoke to in our guide to scar treatments.

Spanx FlexFeel Medium Impact Sports Bra

A sports bra can make or break a workout — and this one from Spanx is NBC Select editor-approved. The medium impact sports bra has padded, molded cups that give more structure than a low impact bra without being super compressive. NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin wears this bra when using the elliptical machine and during hot yoga and Pilates. It’s lightweight, breathable and has a soft band and wide, crisscross straps that lay flat against the skin, so it stays in place while she moves, says Malin. Plus, it has a secure fit and helps prevent spillage, she says.

Nair Hair Remover Moisturizing Face Cream

Suppose you’re searching for the best female mustache removal tips. In that case, we’ve got you covered: This month, NBC Select associate reporter Bianca Alvarez spoke to board-certified dermatologists about the best (and safest) ways to remove facial hair. This Nair depilatory cream has thioglycolic acid, which weakens the hair and literally melts it away on the surface, experts say. Plus, since it’s a cream, it’s easy to use (and it helps you avoid taking a sharp object to your face).

Beats Solo Buds

The Beats Solo Buds are a great option if you want a new pair of earbuds but don’t want to spend too much. These are under $100 and have up to 18 hours of battery life on a full charge. Plus, they look sleek and come with their travel-friendly charging case.

Onsen Nail & Cuticle Cream Treatment

This cuticle cream is a favorite of NBC Select contributing editor Bethany Heitman, who has used it since 2023 when she stopped getting manicures at salons. It has shea and cocoa butter, rice bran and jojoba oils to hydrate your nail bed, and a pointed tip to make it easier to dab on. The best part? It absorbs almost immediately upon contact, so you aren’t left with oily hands, says Heitman.

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream

This is one of the best eye creams you can find at the drugstore, and it’s only $11. It has caffeine to help address under-eye puffiness and peptides to brighten up the under-eye area. It comes in a tube rather than a pot, so you won’t have to dip your fingers into the product.

Honeywell DF300 N95 Flatfold Disposable Respirator

This N95 mask folds flat, so it’s easy to toss in your bag or luggage when traveling. It also has an adjustable nose clip with a foam cushion to create a tight seal against the face. The masks come in a pack of 20.

EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 46

This is the only sunscreen NBC Select editorial director Lauren Swanson uses because it never makes her super-sensitive skin break out. “I use it so much that I have it on subscribe and save from Amazon, so I never run out,” she says. I’m also a huge fan of this sunscreen because it doesn’t leave a white cast and is the only one that doesn’t irritate my rosacea-prone skin.

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Treatment Gel

In March, the FDA announced that 95 skin care products containing benzoyl peroxide may be at risk for benzene contamination, which means they have at least small amounts of the carcinogen commonly found in cigarette smoke and gasoline. With this in mind, La Roche-Posay voluntarily recalled its popular Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment. If you’re looking for a replacement, consider this Neutrogena spot treatment. It has 10% benzoyl peroxide, which inhibits bacteria from spreading, and you can use it morning or night, according to the brand.

Byoma De-Puff + Brighten Eye Gel

Another of our favorite budget-friendly eye creams, this Byoma gel is a favorite of NBC Select social media assistant Caitlin Cusack, who repurchases this more than any other product she owns. “It immediately makes my under eyes look brighter, a lot less puffy and hides my dark circles,” she says. It’s a lightweight gel, so blending into the skin is easy.

Active Mold Stain Remover Gel Cleaner

Ensuring your home is free of odors, grime and mold is crucial for keeping it clean. This gel cleaner helps remove mold stains on tubs, tile, shower walls, washing machines and more. It comes in a handy squeeze bottle with a tip, which makes it easy to apply directly where you want it.

Aveeno Kids 2-in-1 Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner

This expert-recommended, kid-friendly shampoo is hypoallergenic, meaning it’s great for sensitive skin, and free of common irritants (like parabens and phthalates). It also has a light scent that isn’t overwhelming.
