Looking to update your beauty routine for fall? Whether you’re on the hunt for a new moisturizer or thinking about a new blow dry cream, Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty sale just started and is a great time to refresh your products. The three-week sale runs from August 29 through September 18 and the deals rotate constantly — with some switching out weekly and others switching out daily.
To help you navigate Ulta’s sale, we scoured all the deals and are outlining what you can expect and when. We’ve also highlighted some specific editor-recommended and highly rated products that are marked down.
Experts have previously shared that silk pillowcases can prevent hair breakage and are softer on the delicate skin on your face. This one from Kitsch has a zipper closure and is machine-washable. Currently, Ulta has a number of sizes and colors on sale, so you can easily find one that suits your needs and your bedroom decor.
Our editors are fans of Olaplex’s leave-in conditioner. This product from the brand is meant to be used before shampooing and it can help repair damage and strengthen strands, according to the brand. Just apply it in the shower and leave it on for three to ten minutes before washing it out and shampooing as normal.
This face wash is in steady rotation in my skin care routine. I especially like to use it in the summer when I’m piling sunscreen, makeup and other products on my face and then sweating. The formula removes dirt and grime at the end of the day. While I often find purifying cleansers to be harsh and stripping, I like how this one leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
One of our favorite hair dryers, the Babyliss Nano Titanium Portofino is 2000 watts, making it one of the more powerful options available. The ionic dryer comes with two concentrator nozzles and it comes in two colors (blue or black).
Similar to a neck cream, this serum is made specifically for the delicate skin in that area. The tube has a roller on the end that dispenses product as you move it over your skin. The formula is lightweight, absorbs quickly and can be used morning and night, according to the brand. “Strivectin makes my favorite neck cream hand down and the roller on this is so cooling it feels amazing on my neck,” says NBC Select editor Lindsay Schneider, who was sent a sample from the brand.
This brow wax is my ‘stranded on a deserted island” beauty product. It is truly all I need to wake up my face and feel pulled together. The tinted wax fluffs up my brows and fills them out just enough so that it wakes up my entire face. I like that it gives you a somewhat sculpted look without making brows look too rigid and stiff. It also comes in 12 different colors, making it easy to find a close match.
Hair oils soften hair by helping boost hydration. You can use this particular oil on damp or dry hair, and has a lightweight texture that won’t weigh down your hair, according to the brand. It also has a slight floral scent that leaves your strands smelling clean and fresh.
Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen made our list of the best sunscreens thanks to its invisible, lightweight formula. This option from the brand also sinks into skin quickly and disappears into the skin nicely, according to Supergoop. It has a SPF 40 and leaves a matte finish.
This cream has hyaluronic acid to hydrate and damask rose extract to add dewiness and soothe irritation, according to the brand. A little goes a long way and you can use it in the morning and at night.
Intended for nighttime use, this rich cream firms, smooths and replenishes skin, according to the brand, which makes one of our favorite cleansing balms. I applied after washing your face and use just a pea-sized amount for your entire face. Translation: This jar will last you a while.
These undereye patches are soaked in a serum that depuffs and helps dark circles, according to the brand. They feel cooling when they go on and are shaped in a way that helps them stay put on your face. They’re intended for use two to three times a week for ten to fifteen minutes each time.
I use this styling cream on my fine strands anytime I blow dry. It adds both thickness and smoothness, which I appreciate. Also nice: It is safe for color-treated hair and is free from sulfates.
Dealing with dark circles? Clinique’s All About Eye Cream has vitamin C to help brighten that area. It also is hydrating and has caffeine to perk skin up, according to the brand.
This leave-in treatment has silk, wheat and soy proteins to help strengthen strands and add shine, according to the brand. It’s alcohol-free so it won’t dry your hair out and it can double as a heat protectant. After washing your hair, just apply a dime-sized amount to your palm and then work the product through your hair before styling.
Use this conditioning mask weekly to strengthen damaged hair or prevent it from happening in the first place. The formula has rosehip oil to hydrate, algae extract to nourish and B vitamins to add body and sheen, according to the brand.
This multitasking moisturizer is essentially three products in one, which means it can save you time in the morning. The hydrating formula has SPF 40 and is tinted to even out your skin tone. It also has ginseng and caffeine to wake up tired skin, according to the brand.
I use the first iteration of this product and notice an immediate difference anytime I use it. The rechargeable device emits tiny microcurrents as you glide it over your face, which helps to tighten skin and depuff. For it to work, you have to apply Foreo’s Supercharged Serum, which also happens to be on sale. While I can’t say the results last forever, I do notice my face looks much perkier on days I use this device.
This serum has tranexamic acid and glycolic acid, both of which gently exfoliate skin to address dullness. You can also use it as a spot treatment and apply it directly to dark spots. One thing to note: If you use it in the morning, just apply SPF afterward, as it can make skin more sensitive to sun.
This funny looking device is a smart cleansing tool that deeply cleans your skin. This technology emits a blue light therapy to kill acne-causing bacteria, according to PMD. On top of that, the side without the lights is textured and vibrates as you glide it over your face to really work your cleanser in and get your face clean.
Belif’s Aqua Bomb Hydrating Sleeping Mask has a jelly-like texture that easily glides over skin. Put it on at night and when you wake up, your skin feels more moisturized and glowy, according to the brand. It’s good for sensitive skin and absorbs quickly, so it won’t leave a film on your pillow.
