If you’ve been paying attention to the news, you’ve likely heard about tariffs hiking up prices on all kinds of things — from everyday items like laundry detergent and paper towels to bigger investment purchases like cell phones and laptops. Another area getting hit hard? Baby gear. “I’ve been reporting about tariffs since March, and every time I talk to experts, they mention how much the baby industry is being pummeled this year,” says NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin. “Some of the most popular brands like Uppababy, Bugaboo, Graco and Chicco have raised prices by up to 20% on essentials like high chairs, cribs, strollers and car seats. And that’s only the beginning. We expect more brands to do hikes between now and December, so if you have anything on your list, buy it now before you have to pay a lot more.”

Some good news: Walmart’s discounting over 1,000 products for babies, toddlers and new moms right now. The retailer’s baby event runs through September 30 and there are even deals from top baby brands like Momcozy, Huggies, Fisher-Price on things like diapers, wipes, bottles, strollers and more.

To make shopping a bit easier, we rounded up some of the best deals currently available — focusing on items that have at least a 4-star average rating from hundreds or reviews. Check them out below.

These diapers are entirely fragrance-free, which is nice for a baby’s soft, sensitive skin. They have a wetness indicator on the front so you can tell when it’s time for a diaper change and are made with soft, absorbent layers to keep the bum dry. This box has 84 diapers.

This must-have transitions babies from an infant car seat to a stroller with just the pull of a lever. You can also leave the wheels in the car seat base if you don’t need them or want a lighter lift. You can also connect the car seat to an app and get SensorSafe alerts, letting you know if your child is unbuckled, in an unsafe temperature or unattended, according to the brand.

This wireless baby monitor comes with a 5-inch LCD color screen and a camera that you can pan-tilt and zoom. It also allows you to use two-way communication and has infrared night vision, according to the brand. It has up to a 1,000 feet range and you can even play eight lullabies from the camera to help put your baby to sleep.

At nearly 50% off, you can’t go wrong with this playard. It comes with a removable bassinet for when your baby is a newborn, as well as a diaper changing insert and a mobile. It also comes with a diaper organizer you can hang on the front. The playard has wheels on one side, making it easy to move around the room and it folds up into a compact bag for travel.

I’ve used this with both my kids and can tell you it’s great at soothing irritation from a diaper rash. I also like to use it preventatively so their little bums don’t get irritated in the first place. It’s free of parabens, preservatives, dyes and talc and is made with 40% zinc oxide to really create a barrier between their skin and any wetness.

The nipples on these bottles were made to mimic the breast, making them a good option if you are combo feeding. The milk only releases if a baby is actively sucking and there are small vents to prevent the baby from inhaling lots of air. The bottles hold up to 4-ounces, come in pink or blue and come in a set of three.

It’s always smart to have a thermometer on hand. This one gives you a reading in just one second, according to the brand, which is super helpful if you have a squirming baby. It has forehead and ear modes, too, and you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
