While some people look to their Pinterest board for inspiration, I go on Wayfair’s website and get a little too liberal with the favorite button. Most of what I save goes into my “future dream home” vault, but since Wayfair’s Spring Cyber Week Sale is finally upon us, I’m following through with the add-to-cart button. As someone who has spent hundreds on Wayfair furniture, decor and appliances since I moved into my first apartment years ago, I jumped at the opportunity to browse through Wayfair’s major discounts this spring.
The sale event includes deals of up to 80% off on in-house brands like AllModern and Andover Mills, which always come in handy when choosing a new (and affordable) set of bed sheets or area rug. If you’re looking to give your living room a small upgrade, consider this upholstered chair from Allmodern. Since it swivels 360 degrees, you can have it face any direction, whether in front of the TV or when talking to company. The base is made from wood and has a non-slip pad on the bottom to prevent scratches, according to the brand. It’s also available in a range of fabric and colorways, like faux leather, linen, sherpa and tweed.
Wayfair Sleep 10-inch Medium Memory Foam Mattress
I write about mattresses and bedding a lot and getting a queen-size mattress for anywhere under $500 is almost unheard of. This high-density memory foam mattress has low motion transfer (so it doesn’t disturb your partner when you move), cooling effects and pressure point relief thanks to the breathable middle layer. The mattress, which comes in twin to California king sizes, takes around two to four days to fully expand, according to the brand.
Gaillarde Hydraulic Lift Up Storage Platform Bed
This upholstered bed frame comes in full, queen and king sizes, plus doubles as a storage unit. The middle of the frame lifts up (similar to a car hood), so you can store boxes and bins and keep them hidden behind the upholstered parts. You don’t have to pair it with a box spring, but the brand recommends getting a mattress that’s at least 12 inches in width for it to comfortably sit in the frame. It also comes with all of the tools and parts to build it, according to the brand.
Lismore Shoe Storage Cabinet
Instead of placing your shoes by your front door or on a small area rug in your room, store them in an elevated shoe cabinet, which doubles as more attractive furniture for an entryway or mudroom. It fits up to 20 pairs of shoes and has four levels inside. It also has one long side and another smaller side, so you can organize shoes by different types and categories. It’s around 45 inches long and 13 inches wide on the top, which you can use to store your keys, framed photos or trinkets.
