How to stream the 2025 NFL draft
If you have cable, the NFL draft will air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and the NFL Network. But even if you’ve severed ties with traditional cable, several streaming services will air the event live. The streaming providers below will allow you to watch the 2025 NFL draft.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV offers a free five-day trial and a special rate of $60 monthly for the first two months. After that, you’ll be charged $83 monthly for the base plan. With this plan, you can access over 100 channels, including all the channels needed to watch the draft. This plan also allows you to record as many shows as possible.
Hulu+ Live TV
You can access both ABC and ESPN to watch the draft live through Hulu’s live TV offering. You can also record events, so if you won’t be home, you can watch the draft later. The introductory plus subscription offers live television and no ads, starting at $77 monthly. You can also add on other services like Max and Disney+ for additional fees.
FuboTV
With FuboTV’s Pro plan, you get tons of channels, including ABC or ESPN, for $55. This plan includes access to 224 channels, unlimited DVR storage and the ability to watch on up to 10 screens simultaneously. Before you pay, Fubo starts you with a 5-day free trial.
DirectTV Stream
DirectTV’s streaming service has a package called “My Sports” for $70 a month that gives you access to ESPN, ABC, CNBC, NFL Network, and 16 other channels. You also get unlimited cloud DVR storage and can stream certain sporting events in 4K for higher-definition viewing.
Sling TV
Right now, you can sign up for Sling TV Orange for $36 for the first month (usually $46) and you’ll get instant access to 34 channels — including ESPN and Disney. Spend more on the Blue package (currently $41 for the first month, usually $51) and you’ll get 47 channels, including local broadcast networks. Or splurge on both packages for $56 for the first month, which becomes $65 monthly afterward.
Streaming devices that will help you watch
If you don’t have cable, you’ll need one of the above streaming services to watch the 2025 NFL draft. And, if you don’t have a smart television, you’ll need a streaming device to get the above apps onto your TV. But even if you do have a smart TV, experts have previously told us that these smart devices can enhance the experience because they are generally faster than your television’s built-in operating system.
Roku Streaming Stick 4K
Roku’s streaming stick is popular amongst NBC Select staffers. Tech reporter Harry Rabinowitz says he uses it to watch TV shows on apps like Netflix, Apple TV+, Peacock, YouTube and more. It connects to your television via HDMI cable, supports 4K resolution and the remote control has buttons to instantly bring you to Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+ and Apple TV.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max
Amazon’s 4K Max streaming stick is small enough to stay hidden when plugged in behind your television. In addition to giving you access to all the various streaming apps, it also allows you to use Alexa voice controls to play movies and it can be synced to your Amazon account. Hence, you get delivery notifications on your Amazon orders.
Google TV Streamer 4K
Not only does Google’s TV Streamer 4K stick allow you to stream shows from apps like Max, YouTube and ESPN+, but you can also cast from it and project content from your phone or laptop onto your television. It has an Ethernet port for fast connectivity and a remote locating function — if you lose your remote, hit a button on the back of the streaming box and the remote will ring so you can find it.
