The Dyson V8 is the brand’s most affordable cordless vacuum and, at 5.6 pounds, it’s also one of the lightest. It comes with a crevice tool, pet hair tool and a dusting brush attachment for cleaning upholstered surfaces like sofas and chairs. It has a runtime of up to 40 minutes and it works as a handheld vacuum.
Shark’s cordless pet vacuum weighs just over 6 pounds and has two attachments: a crevice tool and an upholstery cleaning brush that’s ideal for cleaning up pet hair trapped in the fibers of your carpet or sofa. It also works as a handheld, has a runtime of 40 minutes, and it has an LED light which you can use to illuminate hidden debris.
Best upright vacuum deals
The Shark Navigator is an absolute favorite at NBC Select when it comes to affordable upright vacuums. It’s around 12 pounds, has a large dustbin and works as a handheld vacuum, making it easy to clean stairs, shelves and window panes, especially with the crevice tool. It also comes with an upholstery tool for cleaning furniture and pet hair.
Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet Vacuum
Bissell’s CleanView Swivel Pet Vacuum is a great upright vacuum for pet owners, especially since it has a powerful brushroll that’s made to lift pet hair from furniture and carpet. This extremely popular upholstery cleaner-vacuum hybrid is ideal for removing stains from your sofa, carpet, upholstered chairs and more. It’s great for pet owners and its portability makes it easy to move around your home. It also has a crevice tool and brush attachment.
Best upright robot vacuum deals
This Shark robot vacuum works on both hardwood floors and carpet. It has mapping features that help it clean around your home more thoroughly. Plus, it has a dustbin (that cleans itself) with a 60-day capacity, and you can control it via an app on your phone or Amazon Alexa.
The iRobot Roomba Plus 405 works as both a vacuum and a mop and can be controlled using an app. It has a long-sweeping brush that spins to clean up dust in crevices around your floor, and it has an auto-wash function that cleans itself. It also uses a mapping system to memorize the layout of your home and clean more thoroughly.
Similar to Bissell’s other Little Green model, this option has many of the same features but it uses steam to clean stains from carpet and upholstered surfaces.
