* Why were so many Republicans pushing for Nebraska to manipulate how the party allocates electoral votes? Because, according to an NBC News report, internal GOP polling shows Harris with a sizable lead in Nebraska’s Omaha-area congressional district.
* Speaking of the Cornhusker State, the National Republican Senatorial Committee is making a new investment in support of incumbent Republican Sen. Deb Fischer’s re-election campaign in Nebraska, fueling speculation about independent challenger Dan Osborn and the surprising strength of his candidacy.
