Pop superstar Beyoncé will perform at Kamala Harris' campaign rally in Houston on Friday, NBC News reports.

Three sources told NBC News that Beyoncé will appear at the Friday rally in her hometown. One of the sources with direct knowledge of the preparations said the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer will also perform.

Country music legend Willie Nelson and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, will also be at the rally, according to the event page.

Harris has racked up a number of endorsements from major celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, Megan Thee Stallion, Bruce Springsteen and George Clooney. Beyoncé, who has a history of backing Democratic candidates, has not explicitly endorsed Harris. But she has signaled her support for the vice president in other ways, including granting the Harris campaign permission to use her song “Freedom” at events and in its first ad.

There was also fervent speculation that Beyoncé would make a surprise appearance on the last night of the Democratic National Convention back in August, though that ultimately did not happen.

The Houston rally will be Harris’ first appearance in Texas since running for president in this election. Although Texas is not considered a battleground state, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, who is up for re-election, is facing fierce competition from his Democratic challenger, U.S. Rep. Colin Allred.

Allred, who is also expected to join Harris at her Houston rally, has made abortion rights central to his campaign for Senate. Harris is likely to similarly underscore that issue to the crowd on Friday.
