The justices rejected the TikTok’s First Amendment challenge to the Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, which could ban the popular app in the country if it’s not sold by its Chinese owners.

On Friday, the Supreme Court ruled against TikTok in its First Amendment challenge to a law that could ban the popular social media app in the U.S.

The law, the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, would ban TikTok in the country if its Chinese owners doesn’t sell it by Sunday, the day before Donald Trump is sworn in for a second presidential term.
