Putin’s plan to quickly topple the Ukrainian government was failing, so he reverted to an old and brutal tactic of levelling cities. The port city of Mariupol was attacked, without mercy. Before the war, the Repro family enjoyed a comfortable life in Mariupol, but relentless bombing forced them underground. They hid in a bunker for 15 days, before escaping the city.
