* Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz, spent some time during his latest rally in Nevada talking about new allegations surrounding Donald Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin. “Can we all just agree, this is the kind of stuff that would have ended political careers before they started?” the Minnesota governor asked.

* As the GOP’s anxieties about Nebraska’s U.S. Senate race intensify, a Republican super PAC with ties to a powerful Nebraska family is launching new attack ads targeting independent Dan Osborn. Recent polls suggest the union leader is competitive with the incumbent, Republican Sen. Deb Fischer.
* And VoteVets, a progressive veterans group, has begun a $10 million ad campaign designed to boost Harris and several down-ballot Democratic candidates.
